This is an interesting read. God knows #oncology is a challenging field. I've just begun to develop #empathy for this profession because I've had bad experiences but, it's one of the only fields of specialist expertise where you are always starting behind the eight ball. 👇🏼 Tumor boards are made for 2nd heading cases. Still, sometimes the patients' doctor is ultimately the one that may know best based on the historical doctor/patient relationship and intimacy with the case. 👇🏼 I give this Doctor credit for not going with the crowd. I hope his hunch was the right call.
